The weather in Michigan in September is still warm enough for a round of golf and walks in nature. The leaves are becoming radiant with color, the cider mills are open, and beauty surrounds you!

 

We have lots planned for you this week so come well rested and expect to leave completely exhausted. The SHCA is hosting Agility, Obedience, Rally, Junior Showmanship, Pee Wee, Four to Six Beginning Puppy Event, a Top Twenty Invitational, Siberian Working Pack Hike, Ringside Education, a first time ever Special Reserved Seating Souvenir, Pulling Aptitude Testing, Guest Speakers on Siberian Health, CGC and Trick Dog Testing, and the chance to see old friends while making new ones!

 

The area surrounding the show site offers many different day trips so why not come a little early or stay a bit later to enjoy outlet shopping, casinos, the Dow Gardens, the Tall Ship Museum in Bay City, antique hunting, or a traditional journey into German culture in Frankenmuth, also the home to the World's Largest Christmas Store.

 

The weather in Midland during September ranges from highs in the 70's to lows in the 50's, pleasant days for outdoor fun and great weather for sleeping.

 

Don't forget the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Detroit Specialty show on Sunday, September 11, where there will be a special tribute to the heroes of 9/11.
